Ana Grdovič Gnip

Bio

Ana Grdović Gnip is assistant professor at the University of Primorska, Faculty of mathematics, natural sciences, and information technologies as well as Faculty of Management. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics and has achieved additional training at the University Pompeu Fabra (Spain) and Tinbergen Institute (The Netherlands), among others. 

Ana has several publications in scientific journals in the area of macroeconomics with emphasis on fiscal policy.  She specializes in the assessment of macroeconomic effects of different public policies under different scenarios. 

From June to September 2020, she took part of the research team at the Croatian National Bank (Research department) while in December 2020 she was appointed member of the Economic counselling committee of the Croatian president Zoran Milanović. 

Her applicative experiences involve projects in the areas of macroeconomic effects and forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, and market analysis, among others.
