Bio

Ian is a consultant at Econlab Consulting d.o.o., where he specializes in corporate finance. He has worked on a variety of finance projects, including estimating the cost of capital and calculating internal costing. In addition to these, he has also participated in projects that bridge corporate finance with broader business transformation initiatives, providing clients with holistic and data-driven financial perspectives to support decision-making.  

He is currently pursuing a PhD in Money and Finance at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana. He holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Financial Management (GPA 9.4/10) and a Bachelor’s in Financial Mathematics (GPA 8.7/10). 

Ian is a two-time recipient of the Faculty Prešeren Award and ranked among the top 5% of students in his class. He has passed CFA Levels 1 and 2 (above the 90th percentile), holds FRM Level 1 certification, and is currently a CFA Level 3 candidate.
